Our dedicated team of day care assistants provide care between 7am and 10pm in blocks of care from six hours to fifteen hours to suit each individual's needs.
Our day care assistants are all trained to the National Minimum Standards, and all have an Enhanced DBS check. Most hold a QCF qualification.
We can provide patient specific training for those individuals who require specialist care in specific fields such as Motor Neurone, Parkinson’s or Dementia. We work in partnership with other professionals to ensure a seamless delivery of care.

Care staff will assist you to get out of bed and ready for the day ahead in a way that suits the individual best.
Care staff will help with your washing, bathing or showering routine, including providing bed baths, using your own toiletries and preferences. They will be aware of your specific requirements and provide as much assistance as you feel is necessary while always being respectful of your dignity and privacy.
Our care staff can assist with all aspects of oral hygiene, assisting with brushing your teeth or looking after dentures.
Care staff can provide assistance with taking certain medication. They can manage and record when and what was taken, help with the removal of medication from boxes or dosette packages to be ready to administer and also provide a simple reminder for you, if you need it, of when to take it.
Care staff can empty and keep a record of catheter bag contents and change day bags, as well as set up night bags for overnight while always maintaining best practices and being respectful of your dignity.
Our staff will assist discreetly with continence care, providing support for what is a very personal time for an individual. Your carer will be someone you can trust and, if you so wish, will accompany you to the bathroom or assist with changing pads, aids or to empty bags while being respectful of you and your dignity.
The staff assigned will be trained in Dementia care and will be aware of a sufferer's needs, such as requiring that bit of extra time to gather their thoughts. The carers will establish a routine that benefits the individual and be the same faces the client sees throughout the day.
With the dignity of an individual always paramount, our staff are trained to assist with all aspects of colostomy care. Led by the client, in terms of the level of involvement they are comfortable with the carer having, they can assist with disposal as necessary, applying a new bag if the client is confident the staff can apply it safely & securely to their liking.
Care staff will be fully trained in all aspects of tracheostomy care leaving you confident that it's management will be undertaken safely via the correct procedures.
Full training will be given to all staff providing assistance with this procedure, always maintaining best practices according to medical guidelines.
Our staff are able to regenerate meals, provide you with a snack or prepare food for later in the day all, of course, of your own choosing. Your carer will be respectful of your kitchen, it's appliances and utensils, and always leave it clean and tidy. They can also assist you with eating and drinking, if you so wish, allowing you time to enjoy your meal.
Carers are able to assist in the preparation of lunch or evening meal of your choosing. They will also help with eating and drinking if required.
Care staff can help you change into your night wear, preparing your bedroom ready for you to be comfortable. They can even prepare your nightcap to further help you get a good night's sleep.
Care staff are available to get you out and about to the shops, helping you get a breath of fresh air and socialising amongst your community, safe in the knowledge that there is always someone there to help you should you need it.
If you need help to get ready for a particular appointment our care staff can be there to assist you, adjusting their time as necessary, making sure you meet it without being rushed and being there to see you safely from door to door
Care staff can be on hand to get you ready for a hairdresser's appointment or to attend a social gathering without you feeling concerned you cannot make it, always getting you there on time and providing a helping hand should you so wish.
If you are a church regular or just want to get out to see family and friends, our care staff will enable you to visit without the need to worry, accompanying you every step of the way and assisting as required.
Care staff are able to carry out light house duties if required. This could be laundry and ironing or vacuuming and general tidying, all catering to an individual's specific needs.
