Why is Croeso Care different from other companies providing homecare?

Croeso Care prides itself on its training, with our own training suite on site and own training manager who has over 30 years managerial experience. We support our carers, and our service users see the same familiar friendly face throughout the day. We also work in teams of no more than eight staff in each area. Our managers work out in the community with our staff, and our service users see a manager at least once a month to discuss the care they receive.

When can my care start?

Croeso Care strives to provide care when you need it. It is designed for the individual with as much or as little care needed. In the past we have provided night care within three hours of the consultation.

How much notice do I need to give to cancel my call?

As a company we realise that plans change, therefore we are able to cancel care within a 24 hour period and not charge the service user.

What happens when the office is closed?

The office is open during normal office hours of 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. However during festive breaks or weekends, the managers are contactable through our on call system, where the numbers are in the service user guide. The directors are also available out of hours if needed.

What qualifications do the carers have and are they Police checked?

All staff are working towards QCF Levels of qualification in Health and Social Care, they have enhanced DBS checks before they start work as we are registered with CSSIW and UKHCA.

How do I distinguish that they are Croeso Carers?

All our care staff are issued with identity badges that contain their name, a photograph of themselves and a contact number for our office. If you are ever unsure of a carer, you should ring the office or on call right away.

What areas do you cover?

Do you have a residential care home?

Yes – we have a beautifully renovated residential care home ‘Cartref Croeso’ in Pencader, Carmarthenshire, with rural views and lovely grounds. Independence is still respected and encouraged, but our highly skilled and caring staff are there for you whenever you need them. With only 15 en-suite rooms, we really get to know you and tailor our care to suit your needs. We also offer respite care and day care.
